In order to pass the course you need at least 50% of the examples (over all sessions) ticked off valid, AND at least one positive presentation on the blackboard, for which you can collect either one point or two points depending on the example. If the solution of your presented example is wrong, or the example is not well presented no points will be given. Your grade is defined as follows (presumed that you have ticked off at least 50% of the examples validly):

1 point: sufficient
2 points: satisfactory
3 points: good
4 points or more: very good

Presentations on the blackboard are primarily voluntary. If two or more students volunteer to present the same example one student will be chosen randomly, however, students with zero points are given preference. You may also bring your prepared examples on a sheet of paper to the blackboard.

If no student volunteers for an example although it had been ticked off in advance, one of the students who had ticked it off will be chosen randomly for its presentation. If that example is presented well and the solution is correct the full points will be given. Otherwise, all examples of this lecture will be withdrawn.

REMARK: Notice that ticked off examples will only count if you are attendant and have signed on the attendance list. If colleagues sign in your name or if you sign yourself but leave early, all your ticked off examples will be withdrawn in that lecture. If you arrive late during a lecture and your ticked off examples have already been presented, these examples will be also withdrawn.
