Aims, contents and method of the course
The UE ABWL Management II deepens the contents of the accordant VO ABWL Management I, which is also the prerequisite for attending the course. We apply organization economics and strategic management theories to analyze the organizational structure and processes of the firm. We practically deepen our knowledge by studying cases and accomplishing exercises. The language of instruction is ENGLISH.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam with multiple choice questions: 50%
Written case study analysis & group presentation: 40%
Class participation & homework: 10%

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The objective of the course is to impart competent knowledge in organization structure and the theory of the firm by practically applying the basic theoretical contents acquired in the VO ABWL Management I.
Minimum class attendance: 75%
In order to pass the course you need >50% of the overall points.

Aims, contents and method of the course
The UE ABWL Management II deepens the contents of the accordant VO, which is also the prerequisite for attending the course. Working on case studies and exercises, students practically apply and further develop the basic theoretical knowledge acquired in the VO. The main focus is put on organizational structure and organizational processes; additionally, relevant topics in human resource management are discussed.
