Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
– active participation in class (8 points), also (non-obligatory!) by presenting relevant news from the world of trade law (e.g. newspaper articles about tariff negotiations) during the sessions
Two exams in the final two sessions:
– The first consists of right/wrong, Single and Multiple Choice, and fill-in-the-blank questions (no materials allowed).
The second is a discussion of a hypothetical trade scenario (open book).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
– active participation in class (8 points); students are invited to present one newspaper article on a trade law topic of their choosing in class (approx. 10 minutes, max. 5 points)
– two exams in the final two sessions (72 points in total), the first with Single & Multiple Choice Questions (closed book), the second is a case study (open book)
> 40 points for a positive grade needed
– two unexcused absences max
