Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The final grade is composed of
- an intermediate presentation of the group project (30%)
- a final presentation of the group project (35%)
- a term paper containing a project summary and results discussion (35%)
At least 50% must be obtained for a positive grade. The grading key is as follows:
4: 50% to <63%
3: 63% to <75%
2: 75% to <87%
1: 87% to 100%
The use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) for the production of texts is not permitted. Any further use must be labeled.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
At least 50% of the overall total achievable score must be obtained for a positive grade. The assessment is based on the students' ability to implement a small simulation project in AnyLogic, in-cluding all necessary preparatory (input data analysis) and consecutive (results interpretation and derivation of managerial implications) steps.
Examination topics
After a short intro including advanced topics in simulation (e.g., output data analysis), students will work on their assigned projects in small groups.

This course is held in English. A basic SCM/OR knowledge is strongly encouraged. Prerequisites: Methods in Smart Production - Simulation I (040669).
Important information on the registration: If you want to participate in Simulation 2 in this semester, you have to register within the registration periods listed in u:find. If you do not pass Simulation 1 before the start of Simulation 2, you will be de-registered without consequences.Attendance during the first lesson is mandatory, meaning that if a student is missing or not on time, they will be dropped from this course. Further, attendance during the intermediate and final presentations is mandatory.
