Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Goal is to provide an insight in content and relevance of ITM in an international context. Selected issues and challenges of innovation management will be tackled based on the various internal and external reasons for internationalization. To these belong:
- mechanisms for coordination of international innovation activities with special attention to virtual R&D teams and the use of information- and communication technologies
- R&D project-management in transnational product development
choice of R&D locations
- management of knowledge and human resources
- organizational challenges of international R&D activities

Assessment and permitted materials

The overall grade consists of five partial performances:
Concept presentation (10%)
Research method (10%)
Peer review (10%)
Written thesis (40%)
Final presentation (30%)
