Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is aimed for the students with elementary Russian skills to reach the level A2 as outcome. Registration and regular attendance are obligatory. Language Skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing for common everyday communication will be actively trained in groups .
Assessment and permitted materials
Permanent check of language activities in the oral & written forms, home assignments assume at least 4 hours of self-study per week.
Students missing more than 4 times will be checked out of the course (in case of illness proved thru a medical note), otherwise they will be evaluated negatively.
Students who cut the first lesson without an excuse, will be checked out of the course.

90 - 81 points gut
80 - 71 points satisfactory
70 - 60 points sufficient
under 60 points insufficient
The final grade consists of 3 parts of the language activities to be tested:
Midterm Test: Grammar, Vocabulary & Translation (30% , 90 Minnutes) - beginning of May
- Written Final Exam: Speech Production ( 40%, 90 Minutes) - end of June
- Oral Tests: dialogs, stories, communication - 30%, systematically & permanently

• Verb: Aspekts (imperfewct & perfect), Conjugations of regular &irregular Verbs in all Tenseforms. Modality: verbs &wörds. Subjunctive Mood. Imperativ Mood. Verbs of Motion.
• Adjektive vs. Adverb in context, Comparative & Superlative – Introduction.
• Syntax: Expression of Ground, Consequence, Time, Conditional Clauses - Introduction.
Exact information to each kind of a test will be given at least 2 weeks before an examination!
