Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Knowledge Management, Knowledge Representation, Knowledge Engineering with special emphasis of logic-based systems, fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks, expert systems, ontologies, modeling and metamodeling
Assessment and permitted materials
Active Participation in the course, evaluation of the presentation and elaboration of the scientific literature, evaluation of the practical project
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The course aims at providing an introduction to knowledge management, in particular knowlege engineering. Students shall be enabled to apply the basic concepts of knowledge management to practical cases.
Examination topics
Lectures for the theoretical foundations, practical training with selected knowledge management tools, autonomous elaboration and presentation of scientific literature by the students, practical project (group work) on a knowledge management topic
