Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation in the PS is required (max 2 missing sessions). Participation in the first lecture is necessary to maintain the slot in the course (otherwise, please provide written excuse)

Aims, contents and method of the course
This course introduces students to academic writing. Students write a paper on a topic on economic policy. The language of the course is German and the paper will be written in German.Note that it is not possible to write the Bachelor thesis as part of this Proseminar. The course is solely meant as preparation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Bei der Lehrveranstaltung herrscht Anwesenheitspflicht. Unentschuldigtes Fernbleiben von der ersten Einheit führt automatisch zur Abmeldung, um Studierenden auf der Warteliste das Nachrücken zu ermöglichen. Sollten Sie an der ersten Einheit nicht teilnehmen können, müssen Sie mich darüber vorab per E-Mail informieren, um weiter am Kurs teilnehmen zu können.
Insgesamt führt das Versäumen von mehr als zwei 90-Minuten Einheiten zu einer negativen Beurteilung. Entschuldigungen für das Fernbleiben sind (mit Ausnahme der ersten Einheit) nicht erforderlich. Für eine positive Beurteilung sind mindestens 50% der zu erbringenden Leistung erforderlich.
