Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this course is to give an overview of the existing theoretical explanation of the existence and organization of the international firm:Hymer and Kindlerberger theory, diversification theory, product life cycle theory, appropriation and transaction cost theory, internationalization theory, eclectic theory, network theory, resource-based and organizaitonal capabilities theory, institutional theory, power and innovation-based perspectives.The class is mainly based on lectures and literature discussion.
Assessment and permitted materials
Exam for which you have to register separately via univis (look in Cluster WIWI Prüfungen).
