Aims, contents and method of the course

You cannot take this course if you do not validate Metaheuristics I first

This course builds up on Practical Course Metaheuristics I. The basic concepts on metaheuristics learnt previously are applied to specific Transportation Logistics problems.
Programming proficiency in C++ or any other programming language is required. Such knowledge can be acquired in the course 040491 Implement. v. Optimierungsverfahren.

Assessment and permitted materials

Evaluation will be based on project work. A written report and an oral presentation will both be evaluated.

Lectures, projects (implementation in any programming language chosen by the student).
