The course Business Intelligence II extends the analysis methods introduced in the precedent course Business Intelligence I by the following methods
* temporal data mining
* social network miningIn addition, the combined application of analysis methods will be discussed based on the following techniques:
* decision mining
* text miningAll analysis methods of Business Intelligence I and II will be applied within a bigger BI project based on real-world data (e.g., from higher education). The focus is on finding relevant analysis question, providing an adequate data basis, conducting analysis and interpreting the results, as well as employing open source analysis tools.
