The aim of this lecture course is to given an in-depth understanding of multimedia technologies with all its involved entities (data, protocols, users, etc.). Furthermore, the lecture will give insights into ongoing research activities in that field.The exam verifies to what extend the objectives of the course are accomplished by the students.Grading / Beurteilungsmaßstab (points, %):

The course material consists of the slides and of the literature referenced in the material. The successful study of this course requires the thorough study of the referenced literature (books, papers, etc.). Furthermore, participation in the accompanying exercise course is strongly recommended.
