Aims, contents and method of the course

Competent, appealing, and sustainable teaching of selected areas of digital literacy in classes with potentially high diversity.
Developing and testing (own) teaching materials in digital literacy classes.
Creating connections between digital literacy and the respective second subject ("integrative teaching of digital literacy").

Assessment and permitted materials

Contributing to the design of the Digital Literacy curriculum including presentation of learning modules and incorporation of feedback: 60%.
Active participation present and online: 40%
of which for assignments/exercises during VU and between VU units: approx. 20%.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Achievement of at least 50% of the possible performance requirements.

Examination topics

Content and competencies of digital literacy
Lesson design: learning units of digital literacy including methodological approaches to teaching digital literacy at secondary level 1.
