060012 PV Daily Life in Israel (audio and video course) (2013S)

Continuous assessment of course work

This course was developed at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for Hebrew as a foreign and second language with the objective to familiarise students to situations characteristic of daily life in Israel. Based on audio and video clips, we will encounter a wide array of topics, elaborate on pertaining language structures and enrich our vocabulary. The course design facilitates active participation in classroom debate. The course can be taken upon successful completion of the Modern Hebrew introductory module at the Department of Jewish Studies or a comparable command of language (i.e. Rama Gimel to Dalet according to the Israeli Ulpan system).
