Aims, contents and method of the course

Was zeichnet das Judentum nach der Zerstörung des Tempels aus? Wer sind die Rabbinnen? Was sind Ihre (heilige) Schriften? Wer herrscht über Rabbinen und andere Juden und welche Selbstverwaltung kennen die jüdischen Gemeinden in Palästina und in der Diaspora in dieser Zeit? Um diese und andere Fragen geht es in diese Lehrveranstaltung zur Geschichte der rabbinischen Literatur und Kultur in der rabbinischen Periode, die eine Einführung in die historischen Hintergründe und Kontexte und die wichtigsten Quellen des spätantiken Judentums ist.
Inhalte werden anhand von Vorträgen vermittelt.
