Lesen, Übersetzen und Kommentieren ausgewählter Textabschnitte.
Die LV richtet sich an fortgeschrittene Bachalor- und Masterstudierende, da die Texte im aramäischen Original gelesen werden.

Reading list

Als Grundlage für die LV dient die Ausgabe von Daniel C. Matt: "The Zohar, Pritzker Edition". Die aramäische Originalversion ist online unter: http://www.sup.org/zohar/ zu finden (empfohlen: aramaic user-friendly). Weitere Ausgaben werden in der ersten LV besprochen.
Für die erste Lehreinheit ist die Einleitung zum Zohar vorzubereiten (Vol. 1, 1a-b).
