Aims, contents and method of the course

The canonical process which eventually led to the different canons of the Hebrew Bible and the Greek Old Testament is of central importance for the understanding of Christianity and Judaism. This course traces the canonical history of the Hebrew Bible from its beginnings to the first ancient canons.
