Aims, contents and method of the course
Jeremiah and the Book of Jeremiah had an extensive history of reception in Second Temple and Rabbinic Judaism. We will study this impact based on rewritings, quotations (e.g. the seventy weeks of years in Daniel 9), and midrashic literature.
