Aims, contents and method of the course
Starting from general working skills in historical research the course will proceed to the special skills needed in Global History: Planning and organizing the research process, international search for literature and sources, citation styles, preparing and finishing papers as well as presentation skills.

Regular attendance, several papers and oral presentations

Basic knowledge and orientation about the working skills of Global History
Basic ability to think in the categories and connectivity of development in Global History
Basic ability to handle questions, theories and narratives of Global History
Ability to deal critically with political and socio-economic questions, in particular those of religions and ideologies
