The seminar takes place in weekly sessions on Thursday, 16:00-17:30, in the "Kommunikationsraum" of the Department of Economic and Social History, starting on Thursday, march 9, 2017.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar accompanies the participants during the writing of their master thesis. Thematically it is oriented to subjects within the field of economic and social history, but it is open to all master students in the phase of writing of their thesis. Besides discussions of general problems in the writing of a master thesis we will critically discuss texts written by the participants which should be part of their master thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presence, presentation of a text (ca. 20 pages, part of the master thesis), critical reading of all texts presented during the seminar.
