Aims, contents and method of the course

Inhalt und Zielsetzung:
Den Schwerpunkt des Seminars bilden Zwischenberichte und Abschlussvorträge der TeilnehmerInnen zu den Themen ihrer Diplomarbeiten bzw. Dissertationen mit anschließenden Diskussionen. Außerdem werden methodische, bibliographische und sonstige (praktische) Fragen und Probleme erörtert. Die SeminarteilnehmerInnen werden im Rahmen der LV über die relevanten wissenschaftlichen Vorträge am Institut und außerhalb des Instituts informiert und zur Teilnahme an denselben eingeladen.

Methoden: Vortrag, Diskussion

Assessment and permitted materials

- regelmäßige, aktive Teilnahme an der Lehrveranstaltung
- Berichte über die Literatur- und Quellenforschung (innerhalb und außerhalb der LV)
- ein Vortrag (ca. 45 Minuten) zum Thema der eigenen Arbeit im Laufe des Semesters
- eine schriftliche Seminararbeit (20 - 25 Seiten) - als Teil der künftigen Diplom- bzw. Masterarbeit oder Dissertation der jeweiligen Kandidatin /des jeweiligen Kandidaten
