The course uses methods of source-critical and hermeneutic text analysis, gender studies and cultural studies to analize German and English-language texts on the Jewish history of Central Europe from the Middle Ages to the present. The learning units will consist of an introduction and the joint reading of the texts prepared (put on Moodle in advance). The texts provided on Moodle are extracted in regular tasks.
