Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This class will provide a thematic introduction in approaches and topics of Global and World History. It consists in an introductory part (3 units) and in lecture series supported by specific literature (texts at moodle). After introductory units on concepts and schools of Global and World History, a selection of Global History concepts, approaches and topics will be discussed.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written examination (30.6.2016). Participation in debate based on the reading of the texts given for each session may also be taken into consideration.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Originality of answers which prove that student has appropriated this knowledge.
Examination topics
Topics of the lectures plus the required reading.
