This course offers an introduction to methods and tools for global history students. This includes basic knowledge of relevant questions, theories and methods but also practical aspects, like digital scientific writing, presentations and tools for research & documentation. A special focus will be on digital tools for historians.

Historical background is the advent of print worldwide and it's different impact on societies.
