Aims, contents and method of the course
This class is designed for beginners (=first year students) of Global History.
Assessment and permitted materials
Weekly assigments = 50%Final Text: Identifying a Topic for a Research in Global History= 20%Participation Class Room Discussions = 30%
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Practice makes perfect: writing a bibliography, citing sources - general, citing electronic sources, translation; exercise on source assessment; finding a research question, writing an abstract and the referencing of films and reproductions of images within an scholarly argument.
