Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Lehrveranstaltung bietet eine Einführung in die theoretischen und methodologischen Grundlagen historisch-archivalischer Forschung in der Europäischen Ethnologie. Vermittelt werden Techniken der Materialerhebung, des Handschriftenlesens und der Quellenkritik, besondere Aufmerksamkeit gilt aber auch der Quelleninterpretation und der Entwicklung einer kulturwissenschaftlichen Fragestellung. Die TeilnehmerInnen sollen in selbstständiger Arbeit sozial- und alltagsgeschichtliche Quellen zum Ersten Weltkrieg ausfindig machen, in kleinen Gruppen bearbeiten und im Plenum vorstellen. Die Übung wird von einem Tutorium begleitet.
