Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar will investigate major art media of traditional China from the angle of the production method. Topics such as bronze casting, jade carving, ceramic and textile production and printing will be discussed. During the seminar there will be visits to workshops.

Assessment and permitted materials

Essay, presentation, and participation in discussion.
