Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The reign of the first Habsburg princes in Austria beginning with king Rudolf I to duke Albrecht III will be compared with their architectural initiatives. The development and significance pf this architecture in art history will be introduced.

Assessment and permitted materials

Digital evaluation (digital place: http://moodle.univie.ac.at) by means of written test in 5 questions with slides to be answered within 3 hours. Depending on the quality of the individual answers the valutation will be calibrated. The use of scripts (Open-Book-Method) and dictionaries (for not-german-speaking students) is consented.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The written test shall prove a general konwledge of the discussed material. For a positive result at least 50 points must be reached.
Grading scale:
87-100 points = excellent (1)
75-86,99 points = good (2)
63-74,99 points = satisfactory (3)
50-62,99 points = sufficient (4)
0 - 49,99 points = not enough (5)

Examination topics

The material of the written test are the contents of the lectures. Text and slides will be published during the semester at the platform moodle. The use of individual scripts will be consented (Open-Book-method)
