Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The series of lectures will present a thiopia. Beginning with an introduction on Early Christian and Byzantine Architectúre in Egypt the evolution of Coptic Church Architecture will be explained on base of monument research and archaeological studies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Evaluation by means of written test in front of slides.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The lectures will discuss and explain the multiple influences on the evlution of Coptic Architecture in the Middle Ages as well as ist indigenous characteristics.
Examination topics
The lectures will be presented by powerpoint-conferences. The pictures will be presented also at the platform "moodles".
Reading list
A list of literature will be distributed during the series of lectures.
