Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this course is to offer advanced students who are working on MA theses under the supervision of Prof. Noit Banai the possibility of discussing their ongoing research and engage with issues pertaining to methodology and theory.The methods of the course include: presentations of ongoing MA research and close reading analyses of various textual sources by students and special workshops lead by invited guest presentations who focus on the methodology and theory in their own scholarship.
Assessment and permitted materials
Positive assessment is based on successful completion of research presentation or textual analyses and impeccable attendance at all scheduled meetings.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
presentation of MA Thesis or textual analysis, impeccable attendance, and participation.
