Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This is not a regular weekly class with a syllabus and didactic content supplied by the professor. It is a forum or workshop in which students writing M.A.-theses in Classics can present their work and receive feedback from one another and guidance from the teacher. It will have a symbiotic relationship with Professor Shanzer’s post-doc Privatissimum in that all students in the Masters-Seminar will be expected to do a formal presentation of their work at the end of term before the post-docs. Students will be receiving their primary supervision from those directing their MA-Theses.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active engagement in discussion of one another's work is required as well as a professional public presentation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students are expected to be there, be prepared (as required), and to be active. They will be graded on their classwork and on their final presentation.
