Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Dieses Proseminar dient der sog. "Einführung ins wissenschaftliche Arbeiten".
Vermittelt werden sollen Grundkenntnisse und Fertigkeiten nicht allein im historisch-kritischen Bereich der Latinistik, sondern vor allem auch in der Literaturwissenschaft.

Assessment and permitted materials

Erfolgreicher Abschluss der LV: schriftliche Prüfung. Erwartet wird zudem regelmäßige aktive Mitarbeit während des Semesters.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grob formuliert ergeben sich drei Hauptthemen, deren Erarbeitung mit Bezug auf lateinische Originaltexte bzw. entsprechende theoretische Abhandlungen erfolgen soll:
1. Arbeits- und Hilfsmittel, einschl. Bibliographien der Klassischen Philologie in gedruckter und elektronischer Form;
2. Textkritik, Editions- und Kommentarphilologie;
3. Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaft: Methoden der Interpretation literarischer Texte (Theorie und Praxis).

Semesterplan und Literaturhinweise erfolgen ab ca. Mitte Februar.
Das Arbeitsmaterial wird weitgehend in Xerokopien gegen Erstattung eines Unkostenbeitrags zur Verfügung gestellt.
