Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to Roman Satire with an emphasis on the Satires of Horace and Juvenal

Assessment and permitted materials

Written Final Examination. 1st Date. 26.6.2012: Register using Univis before 12.6.2012. Withdraw before 19.6.2012.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Study of the evolution of Roman Satire; close reading of major Satires of Horace and Juvenal.
