Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This is a research practicum intended to support a variety of students researching at different levels, which include Diplomarbeiten, Masterarbeiten, and Doktorarbeiten. Every student must have a concrete goal for what he/she would like to have achieved/written by the end of term. We work as a group and exploit the power of the group. Students are expected to share their work and comment on the work of others.
Assessment and permitted materials
The students' oral participation will count and the final written product. Each student must be "Aktiv" at least twice. Each participant will maintain a personal Wiki-Page where he/she will set down his/her goals and track activities.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students need to learn how to do their own online (and other) research. They need to master the use of Word’s tracked changes and also Dropbox before the course starts, if they are writing an Arbeit with me.
Examination topics
Not a course with an exam.
Reading list
Different for each project.
