Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In dieser Lehrveranstaltung wird die aktive Beherrschung der lateinischen Sprache geübt. So kann Latein als Mittel praktischer verbaler Kommunikation und nicht als abweisendes, rätselhaftes Geflecht gedruckter Wörter erlebt werden. Die auf diese Weise erworbene Fähigkeit trägt erfahrungsgemäß rückwirkend auch viel zur primären Sinnerfassung gedruckter Texte bei. Als praxisnahe Methode wird die lateinische Paraphrasierung lateinischer Originaltexte unterschiedlicher Epochen und die improvisierte Beschreibung zu diesen passender, in einer vorangehenden Sitzung zur Verfügung gestellter Bilder (von Werken der Weltkunst bis zu Cartoons) angewendet. Begriffe der aktuellen Zivilisation, z. B. aus dem Bereich der Technik, werden in der gemeinhin akzeptierten Form verwendet. Prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung.
