Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Hands-on instruction in research for all DoktorandInnen, DiplomandInnen, and writers of MA Theses.

Assessment and permitted materials

There will be four different ways of participating in this course:

1. Post-docs will be auditors (enrolled for access to Moodle), but will receive no grade. They may attend when they feel like it, but must give me due notice, if they want to be “active.”

2. Doktorandinnen must enroll for grade. All must have a concrete goal at the start of term and a written product to show by the end of term. All must attend regularly. Each must be “aktiv” at least 2 times.

3. DiplomandInnen/Masters-students must enroll for a grade. All must have a concrete goal at the beginning of term and a written product to submit by the end of term or at least before I grade them. All must attend regularly. Each must be “aktiv” at least 2 times.

4. Pre-doctoral guests must enroll (for access to Moodle), but may choose whether to audit or take the course for a grade.

Other Activities:

Each participant will maintain a personal Wiki-Page where he/she will set down his/her goals and track activities. Exhaustive detail not necessary!

Some weeks (TBA) the DiplomandInnen may meet alone with me.
