Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Topics frequently dealt with on a more advanced level in AHS will be discussed and a meaningful didactic presentation will be aimed at; the main focus are activities with high students' participation. The CEFR and its importance for the current curricula and final exams will be presented. The considerations relevant for correcting / describing / assessing learners' performance will be worked out. Students will learn about and try out some 'alternative' forms of teaching, assessing and new ways of including literature in the language classroom.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The aim of the course is to introduce students to (and have them experience in simulations) numerous methods and ways of presenting topics and using materials in the language class room. It wants to encourage them to include into their course design the skills relevant for written and oral final exams; it also aims at making students' aware of the sensitive areas of correcting and assessment.
