Aims, contents and method of the course

Analysis of the literary movements of realism and naturalism in the Centre (France) and peripheric cultures, above all in Spanish Literature from Europe and the Americas between 1800 and 2010 with particular emphasis on cultural relation between centre(s) and peipherical region(s) and on literary communication

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam at the end of the course

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Better orientation about the development of Hispanic Literature(s) in the 19th and 20th centuries with emphasis on approaches of culture studies and literary communication

text analysis, commentaries, contextualization
