Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The present working group aims at a consistent deepening of the basic knowledge of STEOP about the approaches of Hispanic linguistics to the description of Spanish and its varieties and will strive for the applications relevant to the teaching profession. The selected approaches (phonematics and graphematics, morphosyntax, semantics, text analysis) will be supplemented and deepened by both variety linguistics and norm policy questions (positioning of varieties) as well as text classifications. In particular, the classification of Spanish text examples according to text classes and text types is to be tested. Here, too, special attention will be paid to the language didactic contrast between the Spanish and German languages. In addition, the work steps for independent research of scientific literature and for the critical evaluation of scientific descriptions are taught. Methods and applications are to be interactively developed and jointly evaluated on the basis of concrete text examples and audio documents.
Assessment and permitted materials
Regular, punctual (!) attendance counts as cooperation and as such an important part of the service. Furthermore, a short written paper, a short presentation and an oral examination.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
All parts must be completed positively, and just as much emphasis is placed on active participation as on the other partial achievements.
All services must be provided independently. The thesis can be written in German or Spanish and must be submitted by February 28 at the latest.
