Aims, contents and method of the course

CLIL models, aims and goals; underlying learning theories, language functions in the classroom, national and international CLIL policies , CLIL in the Austrian school system (legal and organizational issues).

Portfolio, book report, presentations

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course aims at providing participants with a conceptual framework that enables them to take a professional approach towards planning and teaching CLIL sequences. The course is intended as a complement to the 622 CLIL course.

Readings, mini-lectures, group work, discussion, project work, oral presentations; e-learning
