Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this class, we will deal with literary texts from the American South, a region that has asserted its distinctiveness as a literary and cultural space since the 19th century. We will focus on the more recent American South and investigate the literary (re)presentation of the human condition in a socio-cultural landscape that has undergone considerable changes over the centuries.
