Aims, contents and method of the course
This class will focus on how literature for children and young adults can be used in the EFL classroom. The focus will be on a variety of learning aims that can be met with this type of literature, and on the spectrum of methods that can be applied to teach literature.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
This class aims at providing a solid theoretical basis for the teaching of literature in the EFL classroom, and at offering an insight and a means of orientation in the field of children's and young adult literature. The primary aim is to enable students to devise lesson plans and teaching activities according to learning aims and based on results from reading research and other areas of investigation.
