Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Australia’s colonial past has left visible marks of violence on the country’s contemporary literary landscape. The focus of the course will be on the unraveling of Australia’s colonial past to highlight the problematic legacies of colonialism in both personal and national narration.

Assessment and permitted materials

Students will be assessed based on regular attendance, class participation, class presentations, four individual essays, and a final written exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
