Aims, contents and method of the course

History of Irish Literature
This lecture course will offer a survey on Irish Literature from the middle ages to the present.
The lecture course units will be taught in person, owing to COVID-19, these units will be recorded and made available via Moodle. It will be up to every participant's personal decision to follow the units on a face to face basis or online.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written final test (online).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The exam consists of 2 parts (with 20 points each) which both need to be positive.
Part 1: short and precise answers to some 10 to 15 questions
Part 2: well-structured coherent essay-like text (about 450 words)
minimum score to pass: 21 out of 40 points; 10.5 in each part
40 - 36 = 1
35.5 - 31.5 = 2
31 - 26.5 = 3
26 - 21 = 4
20.5 - 0 = 5
