Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this workshop we will analyse a number of texts describing lives at the margins of society which could possibly be used in the classroom or recommended to more advanced readers. We will focus on the means authors use to arouse empathy for the characters and on the ethical questions raised, but also on the aesthetic quality of the texts and their narrative technique.

Assessment and permitted materials
