Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
This course serves as workshop to develop a critical understanding of the notions "New Media", "critical media literacy" and "digital literacy" in the context of education and English Studies.
Examination topics
Students will approach the topic from various theoretical perspectives. Class readings, in-class tasks and discussions, offline & online homework activities.
A class blog will be set up where students will post class related ideas and findings on a regular basis. -> Regular Internet access is obligatory.
