This AR will address these questions by taking a look at the ways in which (medical) knowledge has been communicated in the time of the recent COVID-19 pandemic. We will consider how different media have represented the virus and the pandemic. We will discuss the (dis)advantages of this type of communication and the effects of that on various groups and their uptake of healthcare. We shall do so with relation to larger, historically bound, theoretical and critical discussions.
