Aims, contents and method of the course

The most important factor for success in the language classroom is the language teacher. This seminar will look at language teachers from a range of perspectives: the teachers themselves, their choice of profession, their training and professional development, their knowledge, language, skills, competences and beliefs. Students will both reflect on their own professional development and learn about a number of factors which make language teachers successful.
