Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course aims at providing students with the basic tools for the analysis of literary texts, and provides a framework in which different approaches can be practised and critically examined. The course will consist of two introductory sessions dealing with key concepts of literary analysis, followed by a number of units structured around student presentations and in-class discussion.
Assessment and permitted materials
oral presentation (in groups of 3-5 students); active participation in class discussions, portfolio (to be submitted at the end of term).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will be assessed on the basis of a point-based system. Students have to score at least 60 points to pass the course.Oral presentation: 25 points
