A number of sessions will tackle the process of designing and writing a dissertation and be devoted to supporting students in their individual needs and problems.Course aims: students will be able to situate their projects within wider research contexts related to North America; you will have deepened and broadened your theoretical understanding, research design and oral presentation skills, and your research networks, within and across various fields; you will have received ample support and techniques regarding "soft skills" to tackle potential obstacles and problems that might occur during the process of writing your dissertation.Methods: discussions, team and group work units, input sessions
